Vale Show 2007
August 20th 2008 saw the return of the Annual Vale of Glamorgan Agricultural Show. With more than 120 entered classes, competition was typically fierce, despite less than perfect weather!
Jacksons Cars was in attendance as usual, showing constant support for the event over the years. Both Hyundai and Citroen Marques were displayed. A keen emphasis was placed on the 4X4 models of the Tucson, Santa Fe and Terracan. All three vehicles are hugely capable both on and off road and appeal strongly to the Farming Community.
Dragon Ride 2008
The 5th Welsh Dragon Ride took place on on June 15th 2008 with some 2,300 cyclists taking part. This circular non-competitive event is used by many riders as training for the French Etape du Tour Race. The 2008 course took in some of Wales’ most beautiful and challenging routes through the depths of the South Wales valleys and across the imposing Brecon Beacons. Even our very own Dealer Principal took on the challenge!
Jacksons Cars proudly supported the event by sponsoring a participating team and also providing vehicle support and transport on the day. The event was a huge success and organisers of the 2009 race expect in excess of 3000 competitors.
Point to Point 2007
Jacksons Cars continued its support of local Point to Point events throughout 2007. One such event was the Ystradowen Point to Point held on 31st March. Despite the odd downpour, the event was very well attended by spectators who refused to be put off by the rain.
Jacksons Cars showcased the latest Hyundai 4x4’s of the Tucson, Sante Fe and Terracan. All three models offer huge off road ability, excellent on road manners and unrivalled value for money.
